The balaclava is one of this season’s biggest musthaves. The clever combination of hat and collar keeps both neck and head warm, while looking super chic.

Balaclava No. 1 is worked top down in a delicate and feminine rib pattern.

SUGGESTED NEEDLES 

4 mm [US 6] circular needles (60 or 80 cm [24 or 32 inches])

2.5 mm [US 2] circular needles (40 cm [16 inches])

 

GAUGE

In patterned rib using 4 mm [US 6] needles.

21 sts / 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches]

 

MATERIALS

Work the balaclava with two strands of yarn held together. One strand of cashmere and one of silk mohair.  

 

50 g Cashmere Premium, Lang Yarns 25 g / 115 m
