Beanie No. 3 - ENGLISH

Beanie No. 3 is a classic hat featuring a fold of double-layered twisted rib.

The beanie is intended to be worn with either a bit of extra space on the crown or completely fitted.

The hat is worked from the bottom up with decorative decreases.

 

SIZES 

XS/52 (S/54) M/56 (L/58)

 

MEASUREMENTS

Suits a head circumference of: 52-53 (54-55) 56-57 (58-59) cm [ approx. 20.5 (21.5) 22 (23) inches].

 

SUGGESTED NEEDLES

3 mm [US 3] circular needles (40 or 80 cm. [16 or 32 inches]).

 

Optionally, 3 mm [US 3] double pointed needles.

 

Remember, needle size given is merely a suggestion. Work a gauge swatch before beginning.

 

GAUGE

In stocking stitch using 3 mm [US 3] needles.

25 sts / 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches].

 

In twisted rib using 3mm [US 3] needles.

27 sts / 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

 

MATERIALS

100 (100) 100 (100) gr. Cashsock, Gepard, 100 gr. / 416 m.

 

25 (25) 25 (25) gr. Cashmere Lace, Gepard, 25 gr. / 350 m.

 

Work using two strands of yarn held together. One of each of the above.
