Vest No. 5 is a chunky vest with pockets.

Designed for a loose fit, you can wear it over a light spring jacket. The length of the ribbed edge is designed to complement the garment in the best possible way. The garment is worked top down and requires very little finishing upon knitting.

GAUGE

In stocking stitch on 10 mm [US 15] needles.

10 sts / 14 rows for every 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches]

 

In stocking stitch on 4.5 mm [US 7] needles.

14 sts / 25 rows for every 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches]

Work the vest with 3 strands of yarn held together. 2 strands of heavier yarn and 1 strand of silk mohair.
